HOW OFTEN CAN I DO A TOTAL BODY WORKOUT?

total body workout, or full body workout, is an exercise routine where you perform exercises that target all the major muscle group in your body including your arms, legs, chest, back, and abs.

If you are ever short on time, total-body workouts give you the biggest bang for your buck by focusing on exercises that use multiple muscles in one movement. In one workout routine you can hit all the major muscles and burn a ton of calories.

You don’t need to do this workout everyday. It’s best to give your muscles time to rest, recover, and get stronger between workouts.

Incorporate a balance of various workouts in your exercise routine including cardio and strength training, as well as stretching and more. Beginners should do about 2-3 days per week of a total body workout, with rest days in between while incorporating other types of exercise.

Also, be sure to start out with lower weight and then increase every few weeks as you improve.

WILL A FULL BODY PUMP WORKOUT HELP ME TO LOSE WEIGHT?

In order to lose weight you need to burn more calories than you are consuming. Any exercise that helps you to burn calories will be an effective way to lose weight as long as you are eating right.

Make a plan for your weight loss. Include healthy meals and regular exercise (such as this one) and set realistic goals for a healthy rate of weight loss.

WHAT DIET IS BEST TO LOSE FAT?

It seems tempting to try fad diets with fantastic claims that promise fast weight loss, but the best way to lose weight (and keep it off) is to focus on your diet and exercise plan.

Proper nutrition is just as important as exercise when it comes to losing weight. In order to lose excess body fat, you need to eat an appropriate amount of calories, and burn extra calories with exercise.

To have a healthy rate of weight loss, you should plan on eating about 500 calories less per day. Focus your food choices on fiber (fruits, veggies, whole grains) and lean proteins to help you feel full and satisfied at meals. Also be sure to limit your intake of processed and packaged foods, especially those with extra sugar, fat, and salt.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING WEIGHTS?

There are many benefits from weight training besides increased muscle size and strength.

Weight training gives you cardiovascular health benefits, increased energy, better posture, more endurance, and a better self-image and confidence.

You can also build and tone your muscles faster from training with weights. Free weights help to build greater strength and challenge your muscles in a way that other equipment cannot.

Free weights are versatile and can give you a complete workout at home. You can quickly get great workouts at-home without a gym membership because weights are affordable and easy to use anywhere.
